1. Who is responsible

nameitnow is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us about anything on this page at support@nameitnow.co.

2. Why we process your data, and on what basis

3. Who receives it

We use service providers who process data on our instructions and for no other purpose: an AI provider, a hosting provider, an authentication and database provider, an analytics service, and Stripe as our payment processor. We never receive or store your card details.

We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. We may disclose data where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims. If the Service is transferred to another owner, data may transfer with it.

4. International transfers

Our providers operate from the United States, so your data is processed there. Where data is transferred out of the UK or the European Economic Area, our providers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another approved safeguard.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and browser storage to count your free searches, keep you signed in, remember your display preferences, and hold your results and your form while you move around the site. These are necessary for the Service to work.

We also set one analytics cookie, lasting up to a year, which identifies your browser so repeat visits are recognised as the same person. It is not necessary for the Service to work, and we do not ask for your consent before setting it. To avoid it, block it in your browser or use a tracker blocker; the Service works normally either way.

We use no advertising cookies and do not track you across other websites.

6. How long we keep it

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your personal data, correct it, have it deleted, receive a portable copy, and restrict or object to how we use it — including, where we rely on legitimate interests, to object to that use.

To exercise any of these, email support@nameitnow.co, including to have your account and its data deleted. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK or EEA and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
